Flowers, by their very existence, are a visual form of healing, and painting flowers is a way to heal oneself. During the recovery period after my right hand surgery, simply looking at photos of others arranging flowers would lift my spirits, and in an instant, I felt, "This is it! I want to capture this moment of emotion in a painting."

Flower arranging is an art, and beautiful things always bring clarity and light to the mind...
